Her research interests includes decision-making processes and behavioral flexibility in social and non-social context, the neural bases of inter-individual differences in decision-making tasks, how the brain makes efficient choices in uncertain, ambiguous or conflicting environments, cognitive and motor impulsivity, acoustic (ultrasonic) communication in mice, role of neuronal nicotinic receptors in cognition, gambling, how emotions and motivation processes modulate, shape, or re-shape the ability to make choices, how the prefrontal cortex function is altered by environmental factors such as stress, stimulating environments, sleep restriction, nicotine addiction and creation of novel behavioral paradigms for mice or rats.
